In which cases the Option Agreement is the most suitable?

What are the advantages of the Option Agreement?

  • Agreement is entered into for a period of 36 months, but you have an option to return the device after 24 months. 
  • If you keep using the device longer than 36 months, a 100% discount on the monthly fee of the Option Agreement is applied.

Who can use the Option Agreement?
The Option Agreement is available to everyone – customers of LMT and other operators, users of pre-paid cards, as well as those who have not made up their mind yet.

As we take great care to ensure that our customers meet their long-term obligations, the Option Agreement may be refused if limited information is available about the creditworthiness of a customer, or it is negative, etc.
May I have several devices if I have the Option Agreement?
The number of devices is not limited, but we make a decision on a case-by-case basis.
What is the minimum duration of the Option Agreement?
The minimum duration of the Option Agreement is 24 months. At the expiry of this period you can bring the device back and terminate the agreement, as well as get a new one if you want.
What is the minimum charge I have to pay to use the device?
Minimum charge is applied if you would like to discontinue the Option Agreement (terminate the agreement) during the minimum duration of this service, which is 24 months from the date of entry into the agreement.
The minimum charge is calculated on the basis of remaining days before the expiry of the 24 months period.
What happens with the device of the Option Agreement after 36 months?
In 36 months, a 100% discount is applied to the monthly charge of the Option Agreement. This means that you can continue to use the device as long as you want free of charge.
Will I be able to acquire the ownership of the Option Agreement device?
During the term of the Option Agreement you are granted a right to use the device as long as you wish! But when you decide to terminate the agreement, you will have to return it to the LMT.
The returned devices that are in good condition and free from any damage, may be offered in the secondary market. The price will depend on the model and market situation.
What should I do if I want to terminate the existing Option Agreement and choose a new device?
When you terminate an Option Agreement, you have to return the device at any LMT Customer Service Centre.

Before you return the device, please check the following.
  • The device should be returned as you received it, including the packaging. 
  • It is recommended to charge the device – this will allow to settle the formalities faster. 
  • Make sure that you have saved important data (contacts, photos, music, etc.) in another media (computer, cloud, etc.). 
  • Please deactivate all security codes.

What should I do if I notice any defect in the device?
The device should be returned to an LMT Customer Service Centre for further checks and/or repairs during the term of the Option Agreement.
Can I insure the Option Agreement device?

How does the value of the device decrease and how can I calculate the depreciation?
Natural wear and tear is acceptable, major damage can be repaired according to the device repair price list of LMT Option Agreement.
