Seminar on Using Design Thinking Techniques for Working Remotely

From March 23 to 27 the Digital Week is taking place in Latvia which this year will be live streamed on LMT Straume. On Friday, March 27, from 9.00 to 13.00 an online seminar will be held for schoolchildren and students - "Your Profession: In the Technology Sector" with Jelena Solovjova, IT Education Fund expert, sharing her story on design thinking and using this method in distance learning. Jelena is one of the experts in the LMT project on the development of teaching materials for the subject “Design and Technology”.

In her lecture, Jelena Solovjova will talk about design thinking and how to apply it. The expert will introduce the most important concepts, examine the design process in practice and suggest useful methods. Following the introductory lecture, participants will have the opportunity to work with the lecturer on the Miro online collaboration platform, learning its basic principles and exploring how design thinking methods and processes can be applied remotely.
